Beautiful 300y old stone 'Bergerie', lovingly refurbished to create a relaxing family home. This detached house is situated within private grounds of over 5000sqm, just outside a picturesque hilltop village but only 1 km from a supermarket. The house retains it's caracter with an open fire place, Terracota and Tomette floors, old wood beams and thick walls. Downstairs consists of a spacious entrance hall, a large fully equipped kitchen/dining room with 2 sets of french doors opening on to the outside dining terrace and a sitting room with fireplace, T.V, DVD, MP3 dock, & cd player books, toys and games, which also has doors leading out to a lovely spacious covered terrace. There is a cloakroom and an office area with telephone and broadband access.

Our House Manager will meet you at the property and check you in, show you the around and then leave you to relax. They will check you out at your departure and collect the keys. The House Manager does not live on site. We have a House Book with information about the house and area.

The house is ideal for families with ample space for children to roam and explore within the grounds. All the bedrooms are located on the 1st floor. The layout works well for families with various generations and also for groups of adults. All mod cons have been fitted to make your stay more comfortable. Bed & bath linen is provided. Pool towels are provided. Cleaning and personal check-in/out by our House Manager is included. There is a pool house with a summer kitchen, BBQ, fridge, shower and WC. Ample sun loungers, chairs, tables and parasols are located by the pool for your comfort. The pool is 10 by 5 metres, has Roman steps for easy access and is fitted with a safety alarm as requires under French Law. Bagnols en Foret is a typical sleepy historical provencal hilltop village situated at equal distances between the hinterland market town of Fayence and the coast at Frejus/St.Raphael. Walking in the heart of the village, along its narrow streets gives you the impression of going back in time. Sitting under the shade of the plane trees in the square having a refreshing drink or a meal slows you down and makes you feel like you are on holiday! The village is perched in the hills with views over the surrounding countryside, most of which is oak forests, broom and wild thyme fields.
Bagnols and its neighbouring villages are very efficient at organising concerts, art/antique fairs, festivals, markets throughout the year.
