Fabulous stay
We were a group of seven ladies celebrating a birthday. The cottage was beautiful, clean and well appointed. Lovely area, great for walks, would highly recommend a walk to the Seven Stars pub (about 5 miles), which was recommended to us by the owners. It’s a short stroll to the local shops, pubs, cafes etc. Hosts were excellent at responding, really couldn’t say anything negative. We had a great time!

Fantastic family weekend
Fantastic cottage for a family get together and birthday celebration. We stayed for 2 nights. The cottage is very well equipped. Very good quality beds and bed linen etc. The children were really sad to leave, particularly as they had fallen in love with the 2 black labradors that wandered over to visit from the Manor House. Very helpful host who responded to any questions or requests quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Family weekend
Peaceful and welcoming and a real feel of a home from homes. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home. Everything was clean, tidy and fully equipped. The only thing I would say is that the upstairs double room is a bit small for 2 people. The family enjoyed the local area and walks while I stayed at the house and soaked up the peace and quiet of the countryside. A lovely place for a weekend escape.

Peaceful, Tranquil and Beautiful
The 'cottage' although more like a small manor house itself is situated in the most idyllic location within 8 minutes easy walking distance from Pewsey. Pewsey is a quaint village and served by a decent range of local amenities including a small Co-Op supermarket, a couple of takeaways and pubs. The cottage overlooks the parkland that is all part of the Southcott Manor estate and from the huge tri-fold doors, we could see wild deer roaming around the periphery of the grounds. The cottage is well appointed with ample cooking, eating, sitting and sleeping space for our group of 8 + 2 spaniels and one very lively toddler! The beds are extremely comfortable and adorned by high-quality linen. The showers all work perfectly and the en-suite bathrooms are very spacious. This is a great place to for families to meet up and stay being just 14 miles south of the M4 and 7 miles south of Malborough which is a delightful quintessential market town with many interesting shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and a good sized Tesco supermarket. The owners are on hand should you need any help or advice and were completely respectful of our privacy.

Perfection in the Vale of Pewsey
A truly outstanding location and stunning property. We could not have asked for a more welcoming owner and we wanted for nothing throughout our stay. Plenty of space, beautiful country-side and only a 10 minute walk to the heart of Pewsey town. Even our dogs were welcome! We will definitely stay again!

Pewsey in spring
A really lovely property which I think would be even better in the summer to make better use of the grounds and the outdoors. Lovely features in the property - lovely decor and all the equipment you need for catering for a large number of guests. Kitchen is amazing and the layout of the property provides great communal space but also privacy when you need it too. Fabulous! We enjoyed local walks up the hill to the Pewsey horse.
