Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Lovely cabin in a really good location.
Very well equipped and comfy cabin. Mandy was really friendly & looked after us really well, we even got to see the cows being milked & met the new calves in the barn.

Beautful tranquil surrounding and very safe.
Pewsey is a quiet village with stunning views and walks from our window was the famous white horse. Not too far is the famous town of Bath which we spent the day there and around an hour to Longleat and a perfect day we had there. The log cabin was really well equipped our grand daughter had her very own garden to play in

Wonderful place to stay!
Had a wonderful stay at the lodge. The lodge itself was spotless, with everything you could need/want. We loved waking up to the wonderful views and watching the cows on the farm. Mandy was a lovely host and couldn't do enough for us. The canal was only a five minute stroll from the cabin, which was great for my husband and son, who love fishing. There was also a lovely cafe just the other side of the canal which catered for everyone. Lots to do and see in the area, including longleat and Bowood house. We will definitely be going back!!

Perfect for our purpose
We found this cabin perfect for our family of three. Our hosts were very friendly and made a great recommendation for dinner. The cabin is out in the country on a working farm, it was a pleasant change to go to sleep to th lowing of cattle instead of cars driving by. The property is well kept and there is a yard to play in for kids. Bonus, th let us metal detect in a huge field on the farm. It is close to Stonehenge (30 min.) and far more that we didn't have time to see. We would defintely book here again.

Absolutely fantastic
Four friends from around the country staying in this absolutely beautiful lodge. We arrived quite late on the Friday and needed a quick turn around to go into Devizes to see our favourite icon’s tribute act - The Boy George Experience aka Keith George. We tried booking taxis on our way down from Oxford and none were available. However on ringing Mandy on route she went well over and above her fabulous hosting duties and got us a taxi. On arrival Mandy gave us a brief overview (as she knew we were in a rush), we were presented with a beautiful hamper of goodies to give us a start, we hadn’t brought coffee and tea (forgot) but you needn’t worry as it’s all supplied. You just need to bring the food and drink you want. Extra towels were provided too. Comfortable seating area, very comfy beds, powerful shower, peaceful and beautiful setting. We walked along to The Barge Inn on Saturday afternoon but wasn’t really impressed with their Italian only menu - we wanted to book for the evening. So we went back to the lodge and booked into the Millstream circa 3 miles away. This is a very busy restaurant pub so book in advance but it was such good food. Mandy you are such a fabulous host and have the most amazing lodge and I would thoroughly recommend anyone staying here whatever the weather, once you’ve got your fridge stocked you could literally just stay in. We had a fab Saturday evening after our meal at the Millstream and had a good drink and sing-song as you do!! Will most definitely be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
