A chocolate box cottage a stones throw from Sea Palling's Blue Flag beach. The Rocket House is the PERFECT place to enjoy a summer at the beach or take a cosy winter retreat.

Beach walks from the doorstep!
We spent a fabulous week in this well equipped home, perfectly situated for beach walks with our dog - beach access is right on the doorstep. The property had everything we needed, including good outdoor space and parking. Amenities nearby and so much to see and do in the local area. We’ve rebooked already for next year.

Amazing
This all started with a little hamper win with a voucher. We love sea palling anyway so to be able to stay somewhere that is literally next to the beach is a dream come true. The cottage is amazing, with lots of extras that you may forget to take! We had a lovely weekend of beach play, watching seals, dog walking & generally just relaxing, it's what I so needed & my grandson came too. The sunsets were amazing.
I would most definitely go back for another weekend.

Brilliant Dog Friendly Beach House!
Rocket House is a top notch holiday home, perfectly situated for a beach holiday in Norfolk. It is only a short amble to the huge sandy blue-flag beach at Sea Palling, with its dog friendly zones to either side of the central family section of beach. From the front window, you can see the sand dunes, chippy, cafe, beach shop and small arcade. Inside the property are bright and spacious rooms and the wifi was sturdy and reliable. We appreciated being left supplies for the kitchen and bathroom, and also the little extras like plentiful plug sockets, coat-hangers, beach chairs and the like. The back garden was also a bonus, great for the dogs and humans alike. All in all a wonderful stay, and we thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful stay
Just returned from first break in Norfolk and rocket house was the perfect place to stay and location. Beautiful cottage opposite one of the loveliest beaches we have ever visited. Perfect relaxing break with great local walks and places to visit. Thank you.

Wonderful cottage
Fabulously equipped dog friendly cottage, in a perfect spot, 2 minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach.
Everything we needed was provided.
Very comfortable & welcoming.
From the initial enquiry to actually arriving it was a very stress free process with friendly communication from Laetitia.
Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Christmas at the cottage
Wow what can I say perfect break away in this beautiful cottage. We arrived with a complimentary early check in which was great with two young children aged 4 and 6months old as can be harder to get unpacked later in the day The cottage was lovely and warm upon arrival and we were greeted with a gorgeous welcome pack. It consisted of Mulled wine, crackers, mince pies, tote bag, crayons, snacks, chocolate for little one, gifts for santa, milk and a personalised tree decoration that we will treasure to remember our time here. The cottage is well equipped and a real home from home with everything you could need it had towels, dvd player and selection of dvds, hairdryers, lots of cushions, blankets and added bonus of washing machine and spacious dishwasher. A new knife set which was great for our Christmas preparations. Fantastic location with shop a short walk at other end of the road which was well stocked and even got batteries for sons toy which was the only size we didn't have! The arcades is just across the way and pub a stones throw away the chip shop was unfortunately closed with no opening times for Christmas displayed however there is another local chip shop in Stalham a short drive away if needed. Couple of mins and on the beach we enjoyed the sea air and had a lovely walk along the coast . The large array of thank you cards on display also go to show how many people agree that all the hard work is worth it and it truly is a fantastic place to stay thanks so much for our amazing time here

Perfect escape away
Beautiful cottage set in a wonderful location minutes from an idyllic beach with golden sands.
Cottage is perfectly equipped for a home from home, it is clean with really comfy beds. Kitchen comes with everything you could need and the host leaves a beautiful bespoke welcome basket fully of goodies.
Excellent communication from the host, on-site parking. What more could you ask. Perfect to escape the world - or as a base to explore all that north Norfolk has to offer.

A hidden gem on the North Norfolk Coast
I had the most wonderful early festive break at Rocket House with everything that has been going on in the world we decided to treat ourselves to a quiet luxury self catering break and Rocket House certainly didn't disappoint. As soon as I walked through the door of the cottage I was blown away by the beautiful festive decorations and thoughtful touches Laetitia (the owner) placed around.
The cottage was spotlessly clean it had everything we needed (the luxury hotels I have stayed at in the past should take notes!), the welcome basket was full of wonderful local produce (Doggy biscuits, hand soap, dishwasher tablets, bread, biscuits and lots more) the guest book was very detailed with information on attractions, areas of interest and how appliances work. If you get a chance you must visit Waxham Barns and The Ingham Swan both fabulous recommendations.
The master bedroom was very comfortable sporting lots of storage and unique features which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cottage is less than a minutes walk from a blue flag beach it was like being on a our own Greek island!
I can't wait to book our next holiday. Thank you.

Beautiful cottage
Stayed here in May forgot to review, took my 2 Jack Russells and a crate.
Beautiful cottage spotless. So close to the beach. Laetitia was so friendly and welcoming. Very attentive as I was on my own for half the week.

That extra something!
If you had a spreadsheet for Rocket House with ease of parking, proximity to Beach, exceptional provision of equipment etc. then every line would be achieved. However what you can't put on a spreadsheet is the warm welcome you feel as soon as you enter; the undefinable desire to kick off your shoes, take a deep breath and know "thank goodness, we're finally on holiday".
