This detached, rural barn conversion is perfect for a couples romantic getaway. Just 6 miles from the fabulous north coast and the amazing beach at Crackington Haven, Boscastle and Tintagel also close by. The barn has a lovely wood burner in the open plan living space. On the first floor in the bedroom is a hand built king size bed, and in the bathroom is an amazing two person whirlpool Jacuzzi bath, and a double size shower cubicle. We absolutely loved our time in Trelash at The Barn! The location of the place is perfect and isn’t too far from activities and beach trips. Jan and Tim were lovely hosts who gave us all the information about the place and a little tour before we got ourselves settled in and left ourselves to it for the three nights we were there. It was lovely knowing they were close if we needed any assistance with anything. Thank you for such a lovely little getaway. We will most definitely be coming back!

The barn Trelash
This beautiful barn conversation provides spacious homely accommodation for two. Quiet and peaceful location very close to the north Cornwall beaches and attractions. Fully fitted kitchen, spacious bathroom with double spa bath all make for a relaxing and comfortable visit. Wine and Cornish cheeses provided by host were delicious along with mincepies for Christmas. Lots of local information and maps available to help visitors plan their day trips.

Beautiful barn in a great location
The barn is located in a small hamlet which is close to the A39 which gives great access to the north Cornwall coast. Tim and Jan were great hosts who were there to welcome us on arrival and show us how everything works. There were even some basics provided and the cake and wine is a lovely touch. There are two sitting areas outside in the secluded and private garden which was lovely in the sun. Everything you need is provided and the jacuzzi bath is great. it is advisable to book if you want to eat out as covid is still causing some issues. the Coombe Barton Inn at Crackington Haven and the Widemouth Manor are beautiful places to eat and drink. Downloading the following parking apps is recommended to save looking for change: just park, paybyphone,ringgo,flowbird. Would highly recommend the barn at trelash for an amazing stay and Jan and Tim are excellent hosts.

A Perfect Spot
We have just spent a wonderful week at The Barn in Trelash. It is a lovely, well equipped and cosy bolt hole. We managed to use the wonderful sun trap enjoy a beer or wine during the day and relaxed in front of the wood burning stove during the chilly evenings.
The Barn is perfectly positioned around 15 minutes drive from Boscastle, which we visited along with Bude and Padstow, to name but two. We had some wonderful walks around all three places well as some straight from the door.
The owners, Jan and Tim, were excellent hosts and made our stay that little bit more special.
We will definitely be returning.

Exceptional home from home.
Lovely warm welcome from the owners Jan and Tim AKA The Perfect Hosts. They gave us a tour of the Barn upon our arrival to advise what’s what with the appliances etc then left us alone to enjoy the lovely homemade cakes that accompanied a complimentary bottle of wine. A very thoughtful welcome gift that was much appreciated. There was also some milk in the fridge which meant we could enjoy a lovely cup of Tea after our long drive.
There is a handy folder/booklet explaining everything you could possibly need to know about the accommadation and appliances, as well as useful information about the local area and amenities. Jan and Tim were non-intrusive, yet reassuringly nearby, approachable and always available in the unlikely event you would need anything.
The Barn was exceptionally clean and the impression we got was that this has always been the case, even before Covid 19 regulations came in. We felt completely reassured and safe during our stay. Very comfortably furnished. All the appliances you could ever possibly need and more! A real haven to return to of an evening after a busy day out and about.
Trelash is a small, peacefully quiet, pretty village. No through traffic. Easy access to main roads. Ideal location/base from which to explore all of Cornwall.
Alternatively if you’re just looking for a week of R’n’R, the Barn guarantees peace and tranquillity. We could have easily stayed in all week. There are plenty of picturesque walks nearby. Also a local pub you can drive to after a busy day, yet it is within walking distance if you’re still feeling fit.
All in all, We had a lovely week and were very sad to leave on our last day. We hope to return in the future. We will be recommending the Barn to all our friends and family.

Little Gem - And Spotlessly Clean
This most gorgeous cottage in a stunning part of Cornwall. We arrived post lockdown restrictions and the cottage was absolutely spotless. Every effort had been made to make us feel comfortable and secure during our stay. Jan and Tim are the perfect hosts, there was Prosecco in the fridge, fresh flowers and freshly baked cakes waiting for us. Such a treat! We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary, thank you again Jan and Tim for your generous gift.
The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing, get away from it all stay. Beautiful garden to relax in and a bbq for the steaks!! There is lots to explore in the area and Jan and Tim were happy to recommend local restaurants too.
All in all a perfect break, we would highly recommend a visit.

Fantastic host's and fantatic cottage.
The cottage is exellant very clean and well equipped,and in a very quiet area.Plenty of nearby attractions within 20-30 minutes drive.Jan and Tim were the perfect host,very helpful and always on hand if needed.We felt we had made new friends and would not hesitate to return.

Just wonderful
What a cracking holiday let, situated just a short drive from the wonders of the north Cornwall coast, The ideal spot for a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We would highly recommend a stay at the barn it’s somewhere we would be more than happy to return too.

Exceptional Barn, the perfect romantic break
This stunning Barn is situated in Trelash, Cornwall and is surrounded with beautiful countryside, lovely walks, and a lovely little pub at St Tinney Farm which you can walk to in the evening easily. We enjoyed eating outdoors with the gas BBQ, and even the little chairs outside the front door were a lovely touch, to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The bedroom is lovely and has plenty of storage for those wanting to spend longer than a week there. We felt that a week wasn't enough. The double whirlpool bath was amazing and the cosy lounge complete with log burner was a welcome retreat after walking all day. The kitchen is very well equipped to self cater, and as a whole we couldn't fault it. We did a lot of country walks, and visited Port Isaac, Boscastle and Bude. It was an exceptional stay and thanks to Jan and Tim who made everything perfect for us we had a wonderful break. Thank you both, we loved it! we will visit again!

Port Isaac (where Doc Martin is filmed), reasonably close. Boscastle Tintagel and Widemouth Bay, Crackinton Haven all nearby.
The best of both worlds, just over the border in Cornwall giving reasonable access to Devon for days out too.
