This is a gorgeous cottage, beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home and a 5 star hotel. Ian's level of service is exemplary & you will not be disappointed when choosing this lovely spot.

If you want out of the way this is for you, it's in a lovely remote spot but Looe and St Austell aren't that far for provisions. It's perfect for catching up on the reading you've been meaning to do or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings. The cottage (Trevenna) is lovely and cosy with a wood burning stove you'll want...

Trevanna cottage is an absolute delight! Beautifully presented, clean, and well equipped. The attention to detail is notable, with clear instructions on everything you could think you might need. About the neighbourhood
Trevenna Cottage at Hill House is part of Trefanny Hill hamlet which consists of about a dozen picturesque cottages between the villages of Pelynt and Duloe. It is a beautiful, quiet location, secluded and perfect for country walks with its stunning surrounding countryside.
The nearest town to Trefanny Hill is the ancient fishing port Looe (6 miles) which remains a fishing town, and several fish dealers operate from the docks of East Looe. With its fleet of small fishing boats returning their catches to port daily, Looe has a reputation for producing excellent fresh fish. The town is also a centre for shark fishing, and is the home of the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain.
Looe's main business today is tourism, with much of the town given over to hotels, guest houses and holiday home...

Trevenna Cottage is in a secluded location, 1½ miles (30-40 minute walk) from Pelynt, the nearest village. There is a local bus service from Pelynt. We recommend that our guests use a car when staying with us.

We strongly recommend using a car when staying at Trevenna, but if you do wish to come by train Liskeard or Looe are the nearest stations, from where you can take a taxi.
Looe Railway Station (6 miles) There is a branch line railway between Liskeard and Looe. National network rail services from Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol and London and from Birmingham and places further north stop at Liskeard en route to Penzance. Between the end of May and middle of September, the weekday Liskeard-Looe service runs all day (not evenings or night) at intervals of between one and two hours.
