Overview
Condo/Apartment -
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6
Bargemon, Var, Provence
Located on the first floor of an old village house, with immediate access from the street, this spacious, light apartment has been furnished with heirlooms from the old family home in England, keeping traditions and family memories alive. Both sitting room and main bedroom look out over the valley to the south and so benefit from the early- to mid-morning sun, which streams through the tall, old fashioned-windows. On these kinds of mornings, it is lovely to fling open the windows and lean out and admire the views and street below. A decent-sized terrace, shaded in Summer by an overhead vine, is directly accessible from the large, country-style kitchen at the back of the building. For the Winter months and for those wanting full-afternoon sun, an upper garden-terrace is available, up a few, fairly steep steps. This apartment sleeps 4 com... Read more

First, the flip side: initially we were rather put off by the smell of plumbing in the closed apartment but it soon went away as we opened all windows. The 'common' loo for both bedrooms required a little system to be implemented but was fine enough. The washing machine did not work. But now the bright side: it is a...

Management response:

Hi Manasee Thank you very much for the review and so pleased you liked the spaciousness and the kitchen. I am sorry about the washing machine - I am not quite sure what happened there, but have followed up with Joanna. We look forward to welcoming you back for a longer stay! Take care!

Really nice stay in bargemon, accomodation has everything you need for a holiday, walking distance to village and restaurants, just a hours drive to great places near to the coast. Didn't miss not having a t.v but a radio would of been nice,.

We absolutely loved our stay at 21 Jean Jaures. The flat was beautiful and welcoming, a very spacious and relaxing ambience with a fabulous kitchen - and with so many delightful foods available in the area, we enjoyed using it and then dining on one of the two terraces overlooking this gorgeous little hillside village. Judy couldn't have been more...
