Peppercorn Cottage 2831 Is located in a village of Dubbo where you can relax and recharge your battery - this is for you. Take time out in the garden or go for a walk & enjoy bird watching in this historic village located 10min from Dubbo. You can visit the Zoo, theatre, public gardens or Wellington Caves. The cottage is comfortably modern & great for couples, a relaxed family who are happy to share that are wanting a break. Business or solo traveler/swill also the home away from home + we are pet friendly.
The Gratton gallery is next door & the Post Office. Around the corner well Ploughman’s Inn & bistro, where you can enjoy a good country pub meal within walking distance of your country cottage! Or order take away :)

Please smoke outside only, the garden has a pizza oven and bbq both gas powered as well as a clothes line.
Catering can be pre-arranged for you and your friends.
Bed linen is changed when a booking completes. Additional linen is available for guests to use; there is a washing machine & dryer available. A weekly cleaning/linen service is available for those booking a long stay - fee applies. Pet fee $15 per pet/night.

Staycation
The perfect place for a staycation in these uncertain times we decided to stay in NSW and take a relaxing break in peppercorn cottage. We had previously stayed here over 4 years ago and was pleasantly surprised how it had not just retained its charm and beauty, but improved on what we remembered.
The cottage is perfect for unwinding and relaxation. The location just off the Mitchell Highway on the outskirts of Dubbo is ideal for a short stopover if passing through the area or staying and exploring the many attractions in Dubbo.
The hosts provide everything you would expect from a 5 star rental and are a wealth of local tourist information for the more adventurous. The cottage garden is the perfect place to unwind and recharge if you just want to get away from a busy lifestyle.
Fully recommend this cottage and will be returning much sooner than we previously did.

Amazing mini break away
This is the 2nd time my husband and I have spent an amazing mini break at peppercorn cottage to relax and unwind, I must say what a way to start the new year on a good note.
The host Suzy & Tim make you feel at home instantly from the time you arrive and have great local knowledge and advice on all that the Dubbo area has to offer.
This is truly a hidden gem, and a great location to base yourself to visit all the local attractions.
The cottage is expertly kitted out for short or longer stay, beautifully furnished with comfortable seating area's, spacious dining looking out onto a private garden with an outdoor alfreso area with BBQ facilities.
We would highly recommend 👌 this beautifully restored country cottage and will be definitely returning in the near future.

Charming Cottage get away
Peppercorn cottage is a charming home from home. I stayed in the cottage for two weeks during a work assignment in Dubbo and I could not wait to get home from work to cook dinner and enjoy it in the beautiful quiet court yard garden. Suzie and Tim were great hosts and were happy to share some gardening tips and were a wealth of knowledge in terms of Dubbo attractions and good restaurants.
I would definitely stay in peppercorn cottage next time I travel to Dubbo.

Charming and Cosy
This is a charming and warm cottage! The hosts, Tim and Suzie were so welcoming! We only stopped for a night but the shower was hot, the cottage cosy, the coffee great and the hospitality even better.

Peppercorn perfect
What a beautiful, tranquil cottage to stay in. Tim & Suzie can't do enough to make you welcome and share their expertise of the area and Dubbo is only 10 minutes drive away. An ideal place to chill out on a road trip. Please take the time to stay here, you will not be disappointed, we will certainly be back.

Serendipity
What a find! The location was great in the village and made for a quiet and restful stay, still within easy reach of Dubbo and/or Wellington. It was a great base to explore the local area and live in a ‘real’ home rather than out of an impersonal and sparse unit or hotel room. Suzie and Tim's knowledge of the local area was so useful as well- especially on the art scene. As someone who spends a great deal of time moving from town to town I especially appreciated that everything was provided and the sense of home away from home. All I needed was my suitcase. Everything was such a plus and to such a high standard as well. I hope that at some stage I will be back in the area for another stay.

Beautiful, unique, wonderful stay!
Peppercorn Cottage is a beautiful, eclectic, tidy little hideaway. Wonderfully friendly owners, beautifully furnished and a great place to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend, would stay again!!

Great
Comfortable, stylishly decorated, out of the hussle and bussle of Dubbo but close enough for a quick trip into town. Pet friendly, would stay next time I am in town.

Great 3 month stay. It was like a home away from home. Quite town with a great cafe owned by the couple who own the cottage. Quick drive to dubbo for work. If I have to do a relief again for work this is where I would stay. Highly recommend.

About the neighbourhood
Placed between Wellington and Dubbo this cottage offers easy access to Wellington Caves, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo Gaol as well as all that is to be seen and enjoyed around Mudgee. During summer months there is a choice of three swimming pools located at Geurie Dubbo and Wellington with lots of parks and forests to explore for bushwalking with or without a dog.

A car is best however the village of Wongarbon is serviced by a regular bus service that operates at various times throughout the day.
