Discover the secret that is Cavendish cottage, a recently renovated rural luxury cottage situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park. This cosy retreat with a light and airy feel is beautifully presented. The front door opens into an open plan living area where you will find underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped with Bosch appliances: dishwasher, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, electric oven and induction hob. Outside there is a drying/boot room with large drying rack and tumble dryer, bikes can also be stored safely in here. The ground floor has plenty of seating with a leather suite and story tellers chair all looking onto woodlands. Whether it be a romantic secluded getaway or an action packed holiday the cottage is the perfect place to stay. Weekly bookings start on Friday during June, July and August at other times of the year short breaks are available midweek and long weekends. More

There are numerous walks from the doorstep and lots of beautiful countryside to explore, the cottage has a variety of maps and leaflets to help plan your stay. The High peak, Tissington and Monsal trails are ideal for cycling and walkers alike. The picturesque town of Bakewell is a short drive away, be sure to visit on market day (Monday) and feed the ducks while walking alongside the River Wye with its 13th century bridge. Also don't miss out on tasting an original Bakewell pudding.
