Leadhills, South Lanarkshire, Scotland
Ebenezer Hall is an architect-designed holiday home that preserves many of the original features of this 1905 meeting hall - 9 coloured-glass arch-windows and a staircase hand-built from the restored timber of the church pews. It has been converted to the highest specification. Solid oak floors and top-of-the-range furniture contribute to an overall sense of calm and luxury.

Ideal holiday for families who enjoy the outdoors, or if you want a quiet week reading, writing, painting or just relaxing. Situated in the heart of the Southern Uplands, Leadhills is Scotland's second highest village, surrounded by beautiful hills, yet only an hour's driv...

Just spent a very relaxing week after Christmas at Ebenezer Hall. We were there with son, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren and dog. Loved the whole layout of the hall with the big family room upstairs which was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal. All the equipment you could need in the kitchen area, took a little time to get to grips...

Management response:

Thanks so much for the positive review. We really appreciate the good condition you left the house in - you'll be welcome back any time. Charlie and Dot

We were a group of six ladies staying last week at Ebenezer Hall and we were so impressed by it. From the beautifully styled yet unfussy bedrooms with super comfy beds to the really well appointed kitchen including a Nespresso coffee maker. The lovely wood burner kept us cosy and warm while making the place really homely. All in all...

Management response:

Thanks so much for your review Lesley. We're so sorry about the hot water - I think I know what happened and could have explained how to get it working. If you come back we'll make sure it's toasty for you next time! Best wishes Charlie and Dot
