What a wonderful house in a superb location - peaceful village with lots to do in the surrounding area.
The house had everything we needed and Tom and Anthony couldn't have been better hosts.
Friendly welcome and had a lovely time. A cosy place to enjoy one's holidays. The village has a butcher's and bakers and Barfleur is just up the road. Take a walk up to la panoramique and take in the views.
The location is perfect. There is a bar, baker and butcher in the village. Supermarkets within easy reach as are the towns of Barflour and St Vaast both have many restaurants, shops, a market and cafes.
The welcome from the owners is warm and friendly....More

About the neighbourhood
The countryside between the house and the sea (to the north and east) is generally flat and ideal for gentle bicycling on the way to a swim. Inland are the hills of the bocage for the more energetic. Bicycles can be hired locally.
The village itself boasts a baker and a butcher which carries a small range of groceries. There is a bar and small grocer's shop a short walk away.
There are supermarkets at Barfleur, Quettehou (five minutes away) St Pierre Eglise (ten minutes away). And every day of the week there are excellent produce markets within half an hour's drive.
Getting around
A car is advisable although there is a bus route through the village.
