This property enjoys a quiet rural location,and yet is just a two-minute drive to one of the area’s most popular beaches at Saunton Sands. This family-friendly beach offers a beachside cafe,surfboard hire,beach hut hire,and a popular takeaway restaurant. The neighbouring village of Braunton is home to Braunton Burrows,an amazing sand dune system,which has been designated Man and the Biosphere Reserve. The surrounding area has many more beaches to enjoy,including those at Croyde and Woolacombe,whilst golfers will be pleased to discover that Saunton is home to an 18-hole championship course. This property offers comfortable accommodation for four in a 16th century cottage. The age of the house means that there are some lovely original features,which are evident from the moment guests enter... Guests can make themselves at home here,on the comfortable sofas from which they can enjoy the TV/DVD. The dining table seats five and is positioned just next to the kitchen area with its oven,hob,microwave,fridge,dishwasher,and washer/dryer. The freezer can be found in a separate cupboard nearby. Upstairs,there are two bedrooms,both of which have some reduced head-height,due to the property’s sloping ceilings,which are typical of the era. The first bedroom is a comfortable double room,while the second is a cosy twin room. The bathroom,which also a sloped ceiling has a bath with handheld shower and a WC. Outside,there is a small private patio garden with bistro-style furniture,as well as a shared garden,mainly set to lawn,which has picnic tables and enjoys views over the nearby dunes.
