The nearest beach at Saunton Sands is just two miles from the property,and offers three and a half miles of sandy shoreline with a range of facilities,including a cafe,takeaway,and surf-hire shop. A similar distance from the property,Croyde is a pretty seaside village,again with a pleasant sandy beach which has interesting rock pools at either end of the shore at low-tide. For those who would like a break from the beach,Ilfracombe is just a short distance around the coast,and offers an aquarium,bustling harbour,a good range of shops and well-regarded eateries. The main living area of this cottage is the relaxing lounge/diner which offers large comfy sofas,a radio,TV,DVD,and patio doors that lead outside. Around the corner,the galley-style kitchen provides everything that guests will need to make themselves at home,including an electric oven,hob,microwave,and fridge/freezer,with the washing machine and tumble dryer located separately,close to one of the bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms are twin rooms,with the other two being doubles,one of which benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. The property’s main bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside the property,there is a private patio with garden furniture which is accessed through the lounge/diner. In addition to this,guests have use of the spacious shared gardens,which are mainly set to lawn,within which is a children’s play area with swings,a climbing tower and slide. There is also a fantastic shared outdoor heated pool,which is available to guests from May through to the end of September,offering a wonderful place to relax,play,exercise,and cool off.
