La Merlerie is millers cottage with adjacent water mill built in 1896 which was working until the 1970's milling flour & feed for local farmers. Since then it was purchased by a French artist from Paris and converted to a holiday home. La Merlerie is now owned by a British farmily who have finished the pretty cottage to a high standard with en suite bathrooms, new kitchen kitchen & dining facilities. Below the house and overlooking the water meadow is a large terrace area with sun loungers and tables, 10m x 5m salt water pool (no chlorine) heated if required at extra cost. There is a cellar/games room with pool games table and 5 bicyles for residents use.
