Two Hoots is a beautiful barn which has been converted with exceptional attention to detail. The property is nestled in a pretty and private courtyard setting,and,with a public footpath nearby,it’s the perfect base for exploring the Devon countryside. If you want to visit the beach and the Jurassic Coast,Lyme Regis,Sidmouth and Branscombe are all close by and are worth a visit if you can drag yourself away from the property. The cathedral city of Exeter is also within easy driving distance,as are the historic towns of Taunton and Honiton where there are an array of shops and amenities to explore. There are a range of National Trust properties and gardens,such as the Killerton Estate and Knightshayes House,in the area,which are a great way to spend an afternoon when it’s not beach weather.... The main bedroom,which is on the ground floor has a king-size bed TV,whilst the cosy single is accessed through the master bedroom. The large bathroom has a beautiful,freestanding bath,separate shower and WC. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a stunning space with vaulted ceiling,comfortable seating area,TV/DVD and CD/radio. The kitchen,if you choose to stay in and eat,has a country-style to it and has all the facilities you could need to cook - a gas cooker and hob,fridge/freezer,microwave and dishwasher. There is also a utility room for guests to use which is outside,adjacent to the property; it has a washing machine and lockable storage. Outside the property there is a gravel patio area with garden furniture and a large lawn which extends to the rear of the property. Guests also have access to the owner’s 22 acres of land. There is private off-road parking for two cars,which is accessible via a private farm track and is shared with the owners. More

We had a lovely week staying at Two Hoots. The cottage is a fantastic barn conversion with lots of character and interest. It is also superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need. Jane and Paul are excellent hosts, equally happy to chat or leave...More
