L'Apartement Deluxe is a 2 bed 100m2 spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, one king size bedroom and one triple bedroom. All the rooms come with seperate reversible air-conditioning and Private roof terrace with mountain views. Seperate street entrance.

The most enjoyable stay ever
I would like to thank John and Kate for a wonderful stay in Azille. My daughter, our friend and I have never enjoyed a stay more than we did this one. The L'appartement Deluxe was very comfortable, had everything we could ask for, with just the right mix of privacy and communal areas.
Everything we needed to know about the area and where anything was happening, places to eat and places to see, all this information was readily available. For chill out days and bad weather, there were television, games, Wii and books and more, so no chance of getting bored. Kate and John were most helpful in every aspect, without getting in the way.
The welcome basket was absolutely amazing and as I was arriving on a Sunday, Kate and John even asked if they could get any shopping in for my arrival, as the shops would be closed, exceptional service.
We will be booking two of the Gites again in 2013 and look forward to going back.

Great Potential
Stayed here for two weeks in July. Beautiful setting and building and the potential to be a wonderful holiday location. Unfortunately it's let down by not being particularly clean. I don't really want to go on holiday to spend hours cleaning the holiday home before I'm comfortable saying in it! Also issues with wifi and satellite TV at times. The owner said local attractions, markets and events would be displayed on board in garage, but this never happened. With a little effort, could be fantastic. Great roof terrace and a lovely village.

At Gites De Liberte we always want our guests to have a stressless and relaxing holiday we can only apologise that the Apartment wasn't found to the standard you were expecting. We are disappointed to have received this type of review for 2 reasons. The first obvious reason is the you didn't find our apartment clean and as above we can only apologise for this inconvenience. The second is that we look after our own gites and only live a minutes walk away. If this had been brought up with us we would quite happily have cleaned the Apartment again.
The tv box was replaced and the internet was re-booted once for you by us.
We have owned the gites for 4.5 years and this is the only issue we have had and wish we could have had a chance to resolve it during the your stay.

Myself and my family returned for the second year running to the Gites de Liberte this August and stayed in this property.
As with the previous year we received an extremely warm welcome from the owners. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had all the amenities we needed for a pleasant and relaxing family holiday.
The bedrooms were well presented with plenty of towels and bed linen.
The kitchen, lounge area and bathroom were all clean and tidy and well kitted out to make our stay a relaxing one.
The swimming pool was extremely clean and very safe for our young family.
The owners advised us of local events and attractions and we attended the local village festival which was a wonderful experience.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break in the wonderful South of France.
We will definitely be returning next year!!

Azille is a beautiful, small and quiet village in the heart of the relatively untouched area of minervois. Surrouned by the Black mountains to the north, Corbiere Mountains to the south and vineyards at every exit it's the perfect place to get away and relax.
You can do local wine tours and activities such as rock climbing, go karting, fantastic walks, bike hire, kanyoning, kayaking, canal boat trips.
5 minutes drive you will find the beautiful Lac Du Jouarres with it's man made beach, popular restaurant and water sports making it a great day out to relax or walk the Canal Du Midi with it's beautiful scenery

Visit the medieval city of Carcassonne with its vibrant traditional markets with high quality shops and excellent dining. Set perched looking over carcassonne town (approximately 32km)
Abbey Fontfroide
Visit the Abbey for a tour or just relax with a nice meal and beautiful fine wine or both. Then purchase some wine and souveniers from the cave within the grounds. Please see the link for more information and opening times (approximately 30km)
