Boasting five bedrooms comprising of two double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room and three twin bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, as well as one family bathroom and one family ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a well equipped kitchen with dining area, and two sitting rooms, one of which has a logburning stove. Electricity, oil and one bag of fuel inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Ample off road parking. Garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Adjoining barn for storage. Two dogs by arrangement at £10 per dog, per week. Sorry, no smoking. Paddock for horses available. Fishing locally. Shop and pub 2 miles. Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: Nestled in a peaceful valley of the Pennine Hills is the charming village of Lothersdale, just five miles from the market town of Skipton. At one time, this lovely little town was home to the famous writer, Charlotte Bronte, who went on to base Gateshead Hall from her novel ‘Jane Eyre' on Stone Gappe House where she was governess. Many of the visitors today come to the village for its excellent walking routes as it is situated along the Pennine Way - on the stretch from Cowling to Gargrave. The village pub is well worth visiting and serves food whilst the nearby town of Skipton provides an excellent range of amenities. Just a short drive away is the town of Haworth, the Bronte's home and the famous Worth Valley Steam Railway.More

The location of this farm house is about two miles from Skelton, very easy to find and even easier to get into Skipton for amenities such as Supermarkets, Chinese, Indian and Chip Shop. Centrally located for easy visits to Scar Caves, Ingelton Walks, York, Forbidden...More

This wasn't our first stay at Street Head Farm cottage and it hopefully won't be our last. The owners are friendly and welcoming and we were greeted with homemade fruit loaf and homemade marmalade both of which were superb as well as milk, teabags etc....More

ExeterMGOC came along to this fabulous place to use as a Base for our week in the dales. Wonderfully equipped house great area, fab house . Cannot fault. Tiptop
