This gorgeous cottage is one of a pair of character properties tucked away down an unmade track in the quintessential Dorset village of Winfrith Newburgh - perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast which is just three miles away. You can discover the natural arch at Durdle Door (4 miles) or the glorious beaches of Ringstead Bay (7 miles) and Lulworth Cove (5 miles). Entering this delightful property through a stable door,you will find a light,cosy and welcoming lounge. The lounge is a lovely space to relax in with Smart TV/DVD,plenty of seating,a Bluetooth sound system and a door into the garden. The room retains plenty of original features including exposed beams,window seats,a traditional wood burner and a bread oven in an inglenook. The kitchen/diner with underfloor heating features a charming dining area and is equipped with a double oven,microwave,fridge,freezer,washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is also a ground-floor WC. Going upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms: two double rooms with beamed ceilings,and a bunk bedroom with restricted headroom on the top bunk. There is also a bathroom complete with bath,separate shower and WC. Please note,there are low ceilings and doorways throughout the first floor. Outside is a large garden with an extensive lawn,fruit trees,roses and shrubs. You can enjoy a meal or a drink on the terrace which has outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There’s also a thatched games room with a dartboard,table tennis and other games,as well as a Wendy house. Ample parking is available.   More
