Slippery Sam's dates from around 1450 and is a Grade II listed building. It is named after Samuel Jackson, a notorious smuggler who once lived here. The property is located on the old Roman road Stone Street around 4 miles out of Canterbury in a fairly rural setting. Moonrakers: A comfortable self-catering property, all on the ground floor, the cottage consists of an entrance porch, open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge and two double bedrooms both having en-suite bathrooms. The property has been adapted so that it is also suitable for disabled guests.. All bedding and towels supplied. There is a colour TV, video, dvd, books & games. Excellent location. Well equipped clean and comfortable. Plenty of space both inside and out. Ample off road parking.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Moonrakers. It was exactly as remembered from 5 years ago. Cosy & comfortable, not exactly modern partly due to the building being so old and listed if i remember correctly. Had everything needed for a pleasant stay....More

Very easy ample parking, with the cottage being clean and suitably equipped. Being on one level it was very suitable for my disabled mother. Easy links to major motorways.
