About the neighbourhood
Close to the beach. There are many historic Castles, Hadrians Wall and plenty other places of interest dotted across Northumberland, a google search is recommended. Numerous golf courses are distributed through out the area, such as Newbiggin by the Sea, Blyth, Morpeth, Longhirst, Seahouses,Gosforth, Alnmouth, Hexham and Slaley which are not too far away. Of course there are many others. Newcastle is a major City and has all the attractions you would expect, from shopping dining, nightlife, theaters and cinemas to art galleries and museums.
Getting around
Northumberland is a large rural county with many Castles and historic places of interest. The best way to travel is by car. Bus routes and links are good and connect all the larger towns.
