Brand new Olea villas, is a luxury development of two spacious independent villas situated in a four acres piece of land in an olive grove, overlooking the beautiful Loutraki bay. Built in stone, the villas are an architectural delight featuring airy rooms and large windows. The pastel interiors combine simple elegance and beautiful design with comfort and luxury. It is located only 170 meters from the sandy, shallow-watered beach of Loutraki. Swimming can be enjoyed in the crystal clear turquoise waters within a lovely sheltered bay. The beach of Loutraki offers sun beds and parasols, a small café for simple lunches and a restaurant with authentic Cretan cuisine. Beautiful villa

I visited Olea Villas with my family in the beginning of August and we had a wonderful stay. The villa was spacious, modern, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea. The pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the beautiful island of Crete. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to the charming town of Chania and the famous beaches of Balos and Elafonisi in the western Crete. The local beaches were also within walking distance, and there was a local taverna nearby, with delicious food. We recommend this villa for anyone looking for a luxury and peaceful holiday in Crete. It was truly a dream come true!

Cretan Elegance Unveiled: A Luxurious Haven Beyond Expectations

Our recent family holiday in Crete was nothing short of magical, thanks to the extraordinary accommodation and the warmth of our hosts, George, Vassi, and Alex. The property exceeded all expectations, that the pictures online simply couldn't capture. With six of us on the trip, space was not an issue, the property was so enormous that we never felt crowded, offering ample room for everyone to relax and enjoy. A short walk from the property led us to the local beaches of Loutraki just a 2-minute walk away and Marathi where we walked past olive groves, and I indulged in daily swims and snorkelling. I truly miss the through the olive groves. The hospitality extended by the property owners was unparalleled. They treated us to an array of Cretan delicacies and sweets, making us feel truly welcomed. Their kindness didn't stop there; they even arranged for a renowned chef to cook for us on multiple occasions, turning our meals into unforgettable culinary experiences. This was Greek hospitality at its finest. Every aspect of the property is amazing, from the architecture, the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness, the location amongst the olive groves, to the stunning sunrises that greeted us each morning, to the luxurious amenities of a fully equipped kitchen. And on a side note, as a coffee lover, they had a Nespresso Machine – that was a huge bonus. We had access to washing machines, and a cleaner came daily. The owners made it feel like a home away from home. Renting a house for those 2 weeks was the best decision we made as we really got immersed with the locals and made long lasting friendships. We were very sad leaving them.

Wonderful place for a holiday

What a lovely time we had here. Beautiful modern place to stay. Light, spotlessly clean, and with beautiful views. A friendly local taverna. Generous and gracious hosts. A cool private pool by the villa and a sea to swim in just 100 metres away. All amenities within a 20 minute drive. Excellent restaurants in Marathi and in Chania, a city of spectacular light, that oozes with kindly class and history.

Beautiful luxury home in a quiet seaside location

Olea Villa is a beautiful place run by a very gracious, kind and professional family. We stayed for two weeks in August and found the home to be very spacious and comfortable for a family of six. It is a three level home, with lovely outdoor sitting and dining areas, as well as a beautiful swimming pool, which has a gorgeous view of the sea and mountains. House keeping is available daily and done by the sweet and very friendly Vicky, who was there to also give us support and information when needed during our stay. Overall, everyone went above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Since the location is somewhat remote, and we had no car, we relied on public transport, which was great, as well as taxi/driver and a big "THANK YOU" to the most gracious Mr. Giogrgos for driving me to the shops on several occasions. Do not hesitate to select this villa for your next holiday destination stay. If you are after quality accommodation, in a quiet and secluded area, with authentic Greek hospitality, look no further than Olea Villas. Thank you so much for having us in your beautiful home. A slice of heaven

This is a wonderful villa. The architectural design is impactful and sits so well in its environment. The attention to detail is excellent. The bed linen is high quality (in fact my brother-in-law has ordered pillows of the same make to be shipped to the UK). All the little details such as enough dishwater tablets and nespresso pods were taken care of. Even towels for the beach were provided. Vicky, the housekeeper was superb (we loved the fresh eggs she brought us!). George and Alex were brilliant hosts, available if we needed them but never intrusive. It was literally 5 minutes walk to the beach, and this was the most beautiful water we have swum in (and we are lucky to be well travelled). The pool was beautifully warm as well. The local taverna has a warm welcome and just round the corner Marathi beach (1 mile away) has a choice of 3 or 4 restaurants (we particularly loved the fish one). The airport is only a 20 minute car ride away. We went to Chania a few times and after deciding that parking was very difficult we booked a taxi there which was only 35 euros. A rank taxi back was only €30. Overall, a fantastic villa in a beautiful place. Highly recommended.

We cannot wait to return again

We have just returned from our second stay at Olea. We loved it so much the first time we couldn't wait to get back there. The villas are clean, comfortable and spacious. George and his family are excellent hosts. This is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday close to the sea. We are already wondering when we can get back for a third visit.

You are in for a treat!

The villa is stunning and you will not be disappointed. It has a wonderful location with glorious views across the bay. The beach and taverna are metres away and the fantastic Marathi beach is a 5 minutes drive. The villa is simply stunning. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. There is ample space to dine, sunbathe or simply sit and look out over the scenery. George and Alex are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to George’s wife’s Cretan pie which was utterly delicious. I cannot recommend the villa highly enough. If you book here you are in for a treat.

Stunning Glass House Olea Villas Loutraki - perfect holidays for a couple !

We spent two weeks at Olea Villas Glass house - stunning design , modern place and just few minutes from the beach and tavern. This place will definitely satisfy even most picky person. View from the bedroom is just breathtaking, house supplied with AC, TV ( with Netflix, but believe u won’t find time to use it) coffee machine and all necessary amenities , there is an access to the beautiful garden and grill. This will be a definitely go to for a couples who want to enjoy true Cretan atmosphere, quiet but easily accessible location and most beautiful beaches in the area (Loutraki and Marathi). It’s just a shame that time goes so fast when you are in place like this. Owners very helpful and attentive made us feel welcome and taken care of. Definitely will come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing holidays in Greece/Crete, BEST HOLIDAYS EVER ! THANK YOU OLEA VILLAS!

Heaven on earth

We spent three weeks at Olea Villas and teared up when we had to leave:) George, Alex, and Vicky couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. They helped arrange a boat tour, massages, and dinner reservations. Exceptional hospitality. The villa itself is both stunning and comfortable with perfect sunrise and sea views. The beautiful, small local beach and delicious family taverna, both a very short walk from the villa, were highlights. There is another gorgeous beach with three great restaurants just a ~5 minute drive away (Marathi). It was a dream vacation and we can’t wait to return!

fantastic location

arrived late at night and were very warmly welcomed by the family. We moved in and had a lovely meal at the taverna right at the end of the hill. we ate there several times during our stay and it was always good food and welcoming. the proximity to loutraki beach is ideal and even though it was busy we could walk down to the beach for a swim easily and back to the villa. The villa is fully equipped and has everything you could ask for, the pool area is lovely and there are two terraces and a bbq. Plenty of fresh towels for the pool and beach, amazing fresh pie cooked by the owners was an added treat! thank you to Vicky for her excellent daily cleaning! we are a family of five adults and there was plenty of space for us all. The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a narrow bathroom. A further two double bedrooms are on the ground floor, both en suite. Its a short (5 min) car journey to Marathi and approx half hour to Chania old town. The gardens are immaculate and the family are on-hand should you need anything, which is lovely.It was so nice to be back in Crete with its unspoiled charm and very welcoming people.
