This practical, small house is located in the middle of the old village of Le Moustier.
From your house, you can walk straight into the natural surroundings, to the bakery or to one of the nearby restaurants to get a nice lunch. You can also visit the impressive Roque Saint-Christophe.
Roque Saint-Christophe is a kilometre long cliff with cave dwellings on the Vézère river; it attracts many visitors all year round. There are signs showing that people lived here already 55,000 years ago! Le Moustier is also famous for the discovery of the fossilised skull of a Neanderthal. The age of the Le Moustier skull is estimated to be about 45,000 years.
