The impressive kitchen features quartz work surfaces and enough facilities to make catering for the large group a pleasure including 2 hobs and cookers, and American fridge freezer (plus extra beer/wine fridge), along with 2 dishwashers and washer dryer.
Outside we have a secure outdoor space with BBQ, picnic benches, and a large artificial grassed area with Table Tennis, Cornhole game, and all the equipment necessary to design & play your own mini-golf course during your stay!
We are located in Flash (the highest village in England) near Buxton, with stunning views over Dove Head. The historic spa town of Buxton is just 10 minutes drive away.
There are excellent walks from the door including the famous Three Shires Heads walk (from Flash) where the three counties of Derbyshire, Cheshire, and Staffordshire meet.

Booked for my husband’s 80th birthday - fantastic. Lovely location and within easy reach of Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock.
Lodge is very well equipped it has everything you could possibly need, also plenty of room with lots of games for indoor and out! - Good job the neighbours are not too close as we enjoyed the karaoke on the first night!
Would also recommend The Dinner Party company who did us a fabulous buffet on the Sunday for the actual birthday.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay and ages ranged from 3 to 80 - would definitely recommend.

Brilliant joint birthday celebration!
Very spacious accomodation but still felt cosy. Plenty of crockery, utensils etc. Everyone had a great time using the games in the garden and Karaoke in the evening. Plenty of fridge and cooking facilities. Peter and Mark even engaged with my family to allow them to surprise us by arriving first, this was really lovely and appreciated. We cannot thank them enough for a great weekend away in the Lodge. Would highly recommend for any large group wanting a celebration weekend away in a lovely location and excellent hosts.

Great place to stay for a Family get together
We had a family get together with 22 of us ranging in age from 18 months to 77. This was a good central location for all to travel to. The accommodation suited our party well with family rooms and en-suite bathrooms for all bedrooms. Plenty of space to get together en-masse, or in smaller groups. Enclosed garden was ideal for young children with easy access from the house. Plenty of parking space at the front of the house. Stunning views across the Central peaks and plenty of local walks. Buxton is close by with plenty of activities for all ages. Thoroughly recommended.

Great space for family get togethers!
Had a wonderful Easter weekend here with all our family, first time all together, but definitely not the last. Plenty of room, great dining area for all of us to sit at one table.
The enclosed garden was perfect for the children to safely run around and plenty of games to play.
Buxton was very near to visit and a lovely walk around the back of the property where we were treated to ten deer running around.
Definitely recommend Quarnford!

Great large house for our family gathering with good accommodation and well equipped.
This was second time we’ve stayed at Quarnford in a family group of 20. It is a great house for a large group - every bedroom has a bathroom, the communal spaces are generous and allow for people gathering, the kitchen is very well equipped, and there are games/sports to keep people occupied. Although the outdoor space is relatively limited to a courtyard garden where the BBQ is, the owners have improved it since the last time we stayed by laying AstroTurf and converting it into a games area with plenty of equipment to keep everyone happy! Communication with the owner Peter has always been very prompt and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a large property to stay in.

Fantastic family property 10 out of 10
We spent a big family Christmas (22 of us) at this property and it was brilliant. Plenty of space for the children to run around and a great log fire to relax by in the evenings. Great kitchen facilities where we cooked Christmas lunch for us all. Not far from Buxton town centre so managed to go to the garden pavilions, which has a great park for the children. Can’t recommend the property enough. Both Pete and Mark were really helpful with any questions we had.

Fantastic weekend with friends
We have just returned from staying at Quarnford Lodge after celebrating my birthday with friends.
The place could not have suited us better, 10 bedrooms lots of space for relaxing a lovely well equipped kitchen.
I also used The Dinner Party company for our meal on Saturday night and also can’t recommend them enough, gorgeous food served in the wonderful spacious dining area. Just perfect

Wonderful friends reunion
Had the best long weekend at the lodge with a large group of us reunited after covid. Pete was really fantastic and quick to respond to all messages, checkin was easy and efficient.
The location was excellent, really close to Buxton with some great walks on the door step, no houses too close so noise was not an issue.
The house itself was perfect for large groups, really big open living and dining excellent for evenings together and big meals/discos. Rooms were all comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
Definitely recommend!

Perfect place for a gathering of families
Quarnford Lodge is the perfect property for gathering together your nearest and dearest. The dining room is the focal point. We are a group of 9 adults and 13 children and being able to all sit to eat at the same time is a bonus. The log burner adding to the atmosphere. We completed the Three Shires walk on a beautiful frosty morning walk and it was lovely to come back to the fire. The bedrooms with en-suites are comfortable and warm. The kitchen has everything you could ask for. The sound system works great and the tables moved back easily to create the best dance floor to party the night away. The pool table was a huge hit with all ages, we used the DVD player and TVs for a race night and that worked great too. Lots of lovely areas in the house to chill. Finally Mark who showed us round was brilliant and helped us out on our departure when our car broke down. Pete and Marie-Axelle were always on the end of an email when I had questions about the booking.

Great comfortable house for large groups.
Booked this property for a large family group to celebrate an 80th birthday. The guests were aged 10 months to 87 years and the house worked for everyone.
We loved the space, brilliantly equipped kitchen, large dining area and wonderful location. Great that all bedrooms had their own bathroom. We arranged a Tesco delivery for when we arrived and booked Chris The Chef (details on Peak occasions website) to cater for us one evening which was fab. With great walks from the door we couldn't have asked for more.
