We have stunning mountain views in one of the most remote and scenic part of southern Britain. The accommodation has wifi throughout, and is spacious & stylish to a luxurious standard: underfloor heating, English oak fittings, antique furniture, high quality white goods, pure down duvets & cotton bedding. Swallow Barn has ample space & equipment for everyone to eat & party together, although each property is fully equipped and supplied with consumables, making 3 independent dwellings. The whole 16th century listed farmstead has enormous welcoming character, and stands in imaginative, well-maintained grounds. There is a 14 foot trampoline, a games room with pool, ping-pong, table football and art wall; maps, rich library of DVDs, books and games....We have stunning mountain views in one of the most remote and scenic part of southern Britain. About the neighbourhood
Our local town, Hay-on-Wye hosts the world's most famous literary festival, and is known for its retail richness, good cafés and gentle charm, as well as its cultural life. Sufficiently remote that all local pubs are free houses, full of character, the local production is cider, and there are dozens of local brews to try.
