Featuring a beautiful original flagstone floor, an ornamental range fireplace, and exposed beams, the dining room is the perfect space for a memorable meal. Leading through to the rear of the cottage, nestled amongst the eaves and full of character, is the delightful traditional style kitchen looking out onto the stunning garden. A laundry room with a washing machine, walk-in shower and WC completes this floor. Upstairs on the first floor, the dual aspect bedroom hosts a sumptuous super-king size bed with picture postcard views from each window. The bespoke wardrobe is great for storage. This room is served by a period style en suite shower room with Edwardian fixtures and fittings. The outside space is the icing on the cake, especially if you are lucky enough to stay when the fragrant and vibrant wisteria is in full bloom. Enjoy breakfast at table and chairs on the patio that overlooks the lawn and peaceful, uninterrupted views. On balmy summer evenings, pop open a bottle of wine and get stuck into a good book. Comfortable and sumptuous, you may never wish to leave Duxey Cottage, but should you feel you want to explore without the car, there are endless scenic walks and cycle routes nearby - just step out of the cottage door and embrace the day ahead.
