This cottage sleeps two people in one ground floor super king-size double bedroom and a ground floor shower room. On the first floor is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and a shared front courtyard with furniture leading to three acres of farmland. Town: The historic market town of Masham is situated in Wensleydale alongside the River Ure. The town boasts a huge market square, where a Wednesday market has been joined by a popular Saturday market. The town boasts galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs and has become best known as the home of two breweries Theakstons of Old Peculier fame and the Black Sheep Brewery.

Blissful isolation
I stayed at The Granary with my partner for 5 days and we had a fabulous time - if you have a dog, love the countryside and value a stunning setting over perfect paintwork, 4G and WiFi, then you have GOT to stay here! It's a 10 min drive to the excellent pubs of Masham and a 20 min drive into some truly breathtaking scenery in the heart of Nidderdale. The owners were very welcoming indeed and even baked us a yummy cake. Our dog loved every minute, with some of the farm free to walk around and a network of footpaths over the moors to explore. Awesome.

LOVELY QUIET PEACEFULL LOCATION
A very cosey upsidedown property on the owners home stead .I was given a very warm wellcome by the owner Claire. .The granary has everything you need A Lovely super king size bed Living room kitchen was very comfortable.A home made cream cake made by the owner was a lovely surprise The resident ducks are very friendly and come for tit bits when they see you I would highly recommend this property if you want a quiet restfull break its dog friendly.The market village of Masham is about five miles away with some lovely shops and a market twice a week.Ihope to return again this year

Wonderful retreat
We stayed in the Granary for a week and used this as a lovely base for long walks around the area, and also within travelling distance of Ripon. House was faultless, exactly what we needed and the cake on arrival was amazing. Such a lovely place and we will be back.
