The Lodge is a quaint, cosy cottage with a lovely view of open fields on one side and the hosting property, which is a Tudor cottage, and grounds on the other. Surrounded by beautiful plants and flowering shrubs, the aroma of honeysuckle wafts in through the windows. Although the property appears old in character, the kitchen and bathroom are wonderfully modern and well-equipped. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and had a wonderful time getting acquainted with Roger (the host), who was extremely friendly and welcoming, even taking us for a drive in his delectable red 65 year old MG on our final evening. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will most definitely be back.
