Explore the Georgian Market town of Ashbourne (Gateway to the Peak District) and the Spa town of Buxton, famous for its' annual Opera Festival. Forage for antiques in Leek. Derbyshire's jewel, Chatsworth House is just a 20 minutes drive. Plenty of secure storage for bikes. A central laundry area has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and also a pay phone. Mobile phone signal can be patchy depending on your network - reasonable coverage for O2 and Orange/EE. More

Super 2 night stay. Highly recommend. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. High end accommodation in a brilliant location.

Really excellent venue with a hostess Jane who was most helpful. The peace and quiet having come from a town was fabulous. Brilliant friendly Waterloo pub nearby and walks aplenty. Hope to return soon.

Agree with all 5* reviews. Brilliant location and accommodation. Spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. Perfect post Christmas get away. Jane is a super host and coped with her first electric car requests!

Really lovely little cottage with an absolutely beautiful view. Jayne who owns the place was really friendly and helpful but left us to enjoy our break. The property has everything you need, perfectly placed to get around the Peak District area. We'll definitely be back!
