Beaches in this area are private and cottage owners own the beach to the water's edge. There are narrow right of ways to the beach and that is the only public area, very small.
The area is upscale but you have to drive for groceries, restaurants etc.
The cottage has a large open kitchen / living area and a wraparound deck with gas grill. These two areas make the vacation worthwhile. The place was clean and equipped with adequate dishes, glasses etc
The cottage is dated; no wifi, no dishwasher or washer dryer; a rotary telephone and an old TV without access to channels; we missed being able to watch the World Cup. We rented linen and while they were clean, they were a miss-matched bunch of stuff.
The owner was easy to deal with, but phoned several times during our stay, which could be interpreted as caring or intrusive.Overall, I would recommend renting on the beach. more
