Douglas Lodge is a delightful thatched home set in a secure gated community in Douglasdale, Sandton, Johannesburg. The area is ideally suited for access to Jo'burg's CBD, Sandton, the amazing Tuscan styled Mall, hotels and casino, Monte Casino, the music and exhibition centre, the Dome and via the highway, Pretoria and the rest of Johannesburg.
The property boasts a swimming pool and tennis court, table tennis, darts, trampoline, five bedrooms, a meeting room (doubles as a sixth bedroom and booked separately), breakfast room, lounge and dining area opening onto the pool. The thatched roof provides a sense of space and height often found in lodges on safari.
There is fibre WiFi, satellite TV, a fully fitted kitchen and laundry to make your stay complete.

Fantastic place and hospitality
The house is really great and Shoes (the person taking care of the place) is very helpful and kind.
Also communication throughout the booking with the owner was fantastic, good communication.
We had a great time there, good location, house and host!

PERFECT PLACE
The house is located in a nice location with easy access to N1. Its in a boomed area and shoe's is very good always helping us when needed. I would highly recommend

Beautiful Home
Beautiful Home , warm home in winter, there is unlimited access of wood in the yard for the fire place .

Book this place immediately!
You will not regret your stay at Douglas Lodge. We were a group of 8 ppl. The house looks more beautiful in person than the pictures. Shoes, the house helper, was amazing and a great help to us and our very specific needs. We actually had a large gathering of extended friends and family and Frank was more than accommodating to our group and specific needs! It's also close to everything but in a quiet and security gate guarded area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone considering this place. You will not regret it!
