Polruan is an ancient fishing village famous for its boat building heritage. Perfectly positioned on the Fowey river estuary,which is a thriving centre for fishing,seafaring,shipbuilding and agriculture. This remoteness gives the area an unspoilt charm with its narrow streets and alleyways where flights of slate steps twist between the houses. There are two village pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do,why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown,take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock near Bodmin. Enter on the ground level into the lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area co... The kitchen area comes well-equipped with electric oven and hob,microwave,dishwasher,washing machine,tumble dryer and the dining area can seat up to six people. Leading onto the lounge area there is a Smart TV/DVD and a sofa bed. Leading off the lounge area is also a separate WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor,in the eaves of the property is the second lounge and study with stunning panoramic views over the harbour,relax and take in all that the view has to offer. Down on the lower ground floor there are two bedrooms and the shower room with double shower and WC. The bedrooms consist of one double bedroom and one single bedroom. Outside consists of a small patio area with table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine or alfresco dining. Parking is available in the public car park nearby,charges apply. More
