With the location of this cottage it means you will never miss out on what's going on but at the same time you can enjoy the privacy and calm the village is known for. Polruan is a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos-by-Fowey in Cornwall. It is bounded on three sides by water,there are two pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do,why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown,take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also,for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock near Bodmin. Enter the property on the ground floor where you are greeted to the first bedroom with a 1 single bed and full size bunk bed ( twin room,up ... Off the kitchen there is also a shower room with WC. From the kitchen and up a further 5 slate steps up to the first floor,there are two mezzanine levels up from the kitchen. First you come to the open plan lounge/dining area,with sofas,TV/DVD and folding table with seating for four people. Head up from the lounge/diner,via a further 6 steps brings you to the second mezzanine area,with a king-size bed. Heading outside you come to a small shared patio with table and chair for 2 to enjoy an al fresco meal or glass of wine.
