Nestled within the city walls in a conservation area Chapel Place is a newly restored luxury apartment in a former Welsh Chapel. Right on our doorstop are cool restaurants, bars and coffee shops and just 1 minute away are the Roman Gardens which link the City to the beautiful River Dee.
This luxury 2 bedroom apartment retains many of the original architectural features and intricate details of the former Welsh Chapel. High specification stylish interiors make it the ideal place to stay for city breaks or a romantic getaway and is an absolute must for race goers!

Lovely apartment
The apartment is in a fantastic location, it is beautiful, immaculate and a great place to stay. The welcome tray a lovely touch, and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic weekend
Went back to Chester with friends stayed here for 2 nights. The decor, layout, quality of things are fantastic. It feels homely and inviting. Everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable and inviting! The towels soft and luxurious. There was plenty of room for 4 adults without feeling crowded. The added bonus was the carpark opposite and mention Lisa’s name and the man was extremely helpful! Always good that you don’t pay a fortune or being ripped off!
Would highly recommend you stay here and relax.

Ideal in every way
The apartment could not have been better for our purposes - first visit to explore Chester and such easy access walking everywhere we wanted to see. The apartment itself was quiet, restful and so comfortable. Lisa was helpful, quick to respond to questions and very friendly giving good advice.

Amazing
This property is 5* plus !!The property is immaculate facilities are over what you would expect.Stayed here 2 nights with friends for the races and was ideal location near to city centre but in a quiet location.Contact with the host was great, organised parking for us and welcome hamper and toiletries supplied was more brilliant.I would definitely stay again and recommend this property 100%.

Not to be missed
OMG what a place and what service from the owners. Was really excited to visit this apartment and so not disappointed. It was fabulous. Web were a group of four. It suited us all. Great facilities, fantastic location great pre visit information. Parking g opposite was excellent and great value. Very clean spotless place. In would definitely recommend a stay here and will go back.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Chester
We are frequent visitors to my old home town of Chester. This apartment is hard to beat. The location is within the city walls but we had no problem parking close to it with the street parking vouchers provided. The apartment is spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. As a party of three, this was both a cheaper and better alternative than staying in a good hotel. Loads of restaurants, bars and pubs in easy walking distance. Also a one minute walk to get onto the famous walls and walk down to the river. Highly recommended!

Great location
Great location near the town & river with lots of restaurants on the doorstep. Apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. There was some noise from upstairs apartment but not a problem to us. Parking outside apartment with a permit was easy.

The quality of these apartments is first class, we stayed here for 3 days and the location is so central to all the amenities.
The only Down side is that you can hear the people move about in the apartment above. Unfortunately for us it sounded like a heard of elephants were staying here too.
Also the size of the beds is way too small to accommodate two people in them, so as long as one doesn’t mind making use of the sofa it will be fine

Lovely long weekend
We stayed here during the bank holiday weekend and we were all so impressed with the apartment. It was spotlessly clean, furnished beautifully and the location was fantastic. You are within walking distance from the town centre and the parking nearby is fairly cheap and very accessible.
As another reviewer mentioned, noise can be heard from the apartment above. However, that is the only real noise; despite being so close to bars and pubs, you can’t hear anything.
The apartment is a little on the cosy side and whilst four adults do fit, we felt a little bit squashed, especially in the small double beds.
However, Lisa was an excellent host and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we come back for Chester. Honestly, it was one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. A home away from home!

Exceptional
Perfect location close to the city wall and River Dee. Ideally located for the city centre and racecourse. To be honest, it is in THE ideal location whatever you are doing in Chester! Lisa was a brilliant host, maintaining great contact throughout and the goody pack on arrival was very welcome. The apartment was beautifully furnished and equipped throughout.
The one minor downside was the lack of noise insulation between the apartments.

Chapel Place really is in a superb location, the apartment is tucked away from the roadside in a conservation area yet very close to the river, the Roman Gardens, the city walls and the restaurant and shopping areas.
Getting around
A car is really not necessary due to the superb location. There is a taxi rank just minutes away and the new Chester Interchange Bus Station is 5 minutes on foot whilst the train station is 10 minutes away.

Chester has great transport links, Liverpool is just 40 minutes away, Manchester 1 hour and Wrexham 25 minutes.
We are located in a fabulous location within the city walls with a choice of very reasonably priced public car parks within walking distance.
The bus and train station is a 10 minute walk away and a taxi rank just minutes away.
