Newly renovated brick and cedar clad, Mediterranean style villa approx 150 metres from a sandy beach and set into the wooded slopes of Black Rock, Millendreath, a picturesque Cornish Valley. Overlooks the sea and opposite hillside. Coast path walks. Dogs allowed on our beach Nov to April with no restrictions, but before 9am and after 6pm April to Nov. (Latest policy) Nearest other dog friendly beach is Plaidy, a 5 minute walk from villa. Dogs welcome free of charge.

A very mild climate through to winter, offering from 3 night breaks out of summer season. Directions and key codes are sent about 5 days before departure. I send maps and various walks and ideas for places to visit are in the villa. except during school holidays, For 5 pounds per person, you can take advantage of the facilities in the Caravan park at the top of the lane for a whole week! Swimming pool, entertainment, cafes and bars, dog friendly. Unfortunately not available during school holidays. We aim to provide a relaxing stay, beautiful views, all the equipment needed for a home from home at a reasonable cost and hope you enjoy your time here.

The location was wonderful safe for the kids ideal spot to walk into looe hard work up the steps but its a lovely walk

Firstly 7 nights is not enough. You will never want to leave this little Oasis. We were lucky to enjoy a heatwave for the whole 7 days we were there. Stunning beaches with spectacular views. Looe is beautiful and abundant with fresh fish. This villa...More

About the neighbourhood
MILLENDREATH is a small inlet with its own sandy, private beach, 1 mile from the main town of Looe to the West. There is a tranquil air to the place as there is no through traffic. The valley was purchased by Espalier developments. re marketed as Black Rock, Much improvement has already been completed, there is now a seasonal beach front cafe, toilets and beach showers.

There are coastal walks with breath-taking views in every direction; woodland walks starting from your door and picnic areas in scenic locations.

Millendreath is so secluded you may have difficulty finding it on a map, yet it is so close to some of the best known attractions in the West Country. There is a jetty which provides an enclosed bathing area or fishing platform when the tide is in. There are numerous rock poo...

By road:

Around 40 miles from Exeter along the Devon Expressway (From M5) cross the Tamar Bridge at Plymouth.

(Do NOT let sat nav. 'avoid toll', as you only pay one way pound;1.50 and sat nav. takes you to ferry!)

After Tamar Bridge the A38 continues westwards, Turn left onto A374 (Head for Looe). (A3787) past Hessenford; Leads onto B3253 at No Mans land. Millendreath is signed Left immediately after Looe bay Holiday Park, just before the 'Welcome to Looe' sign. May Lane - 1 mile long to Millendreath (Not a through road)

Do not follow diversion signs into Looe (You are NOT going there)
