The coach house is set in the grounds of a large & beautiful Old Rectory surrounded by countryside. We really liked and enjoyed the personalised welcome pack and this was a nice touch. The cottage is located in a idyllic location, a hidden little gem with beautiful views. We arrived to the cottage for a getaway and certainly got that on arrival to the Old Rectory. We were greeting by the wonderful hosts, and homemade cakes. The cottage itself is very cosy and very much reflects the location and feel of the surrounding....

We stayed for 4 nights in November and really now in hindsight wish we had booked in for 7 nights, it was that great a place to stay! The amazing welcome hamper was lovely after such a long drive down from the Midlands and was great as we didn’t have to worry about having to go out to the shops...

About the neighbourhood
The Old Rectory in St Keyne is located in a secluded and peaceful countryside location overlooking the valley to the South West. It is approx 5-10 mins to the coast at Looe and another 10 mins along to Polperro. We have a good restaurant just 3 mins away in Duloe, The Plough. The South West Coastal Path has some good & Quiet walks not far away. Then we have The Eden Project and many National Trust Houses and Gardens.
Getting around
The best way to get around is really by car. There is a bus that runs from Liskeard via St Keyne where you can get the bus at the bus stop in the village.
Alternatively, you can hail the bus and get dropped off at the bottom of our drive to save you the 5 minute walk into the village.

Railway: Liskeard: 3.0 km
Ferry: Plymouth: 38.0 km
Travelling by Car: We are only 5 mins from the main A38 at Liskeard which takes you to Plymouth in around 30 minutes. Travelling by Train: We are literally 5 mins from the Mainline station at Liskeard where you can get a train from Paddington London in under 3 1/2 hours. We will even pick you up from the station.Travelling by Plane:If you want picking up from either Newquay or Exeter Airport we are happy to do this for a small charge to cover petrol costs.
