Our 5 star TripAdvisor awarded Barn is nestled in the quiet countryside overlooking the beautiful Seaton Valley. A 200 year old former Duchy of Cornwall barn, which has over the last 6 years been brought up to modern, warm, comfortable standards yet retaining its character and charm.The barn is only 6 km drive, or 40 minutes hike through woodland, to the nearest sandy beaches and the South West Coastal Path. Supermarkets and restaurants are also within easy reach.The Barn is also just a few kilometres from the major A38 road and so many of Cornwall and Devon's coastal towns and National Parks can easily be reached in under an hour. These include Padstow, Newquay, Mevagissy, Fowey, Tintagel, Torquay, Plymouth, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. The detached property is in its own garden, with a separate hard-standing for parking of 2 cars. The Barn's front door opens into the large living area with its open beams , and wide window overlooking the Valley (designated by Cornwall Council as a special area of great landscape value). The sitting area with its comfortable leather settees and TV/DVD player and music centre is at one end of the room whilst the new kitchen and dining area are at the other. On the ground floor is also the full sized family bathroom and large super king-size /twin bedroom. (please specify which bed configuration you would like on booking). On the first floor are a large single bedroom, and a master bedroom with a king-size bed, both with open beamed ceilings. The master bedroom also has ensuite facilities and a door opening onto a terrace with outside furniture and a garden. All utilities, linen and towels are included in the rental price, and a high chair and full-size cot are also available at no extra charge.More

I, (Sian the owner) live close to the barn and will be the one you meet when you arrive to give you the keys, will explain a few things about the property and give you advice on the area (if needed). I leave you to get on with your holiday but if at any time during your holiday you need advice etc I am always contactable

The barn conversion is lovely every thing there that you need and the location is just beautiful but the only problem is the local pub is not in a walkable distance however this did not bother us we all thoroughly enjoyed it nice break

we were met with a warm welcome from Sian who showed us around the barn, the barn its self was very clean, tidy and spacious with everything you could possibly need. The location was very rural quiet and peaceful. It's ideal to visit the Eden...More

Beautiful cottage in a lovely setting. Ideal for our young family. We had such a lovely welcome from Sian and it felt like she went above and beyond to ensure ie stay was as comfortable as possible.

Lovely warm welcome. The accommodation was lovely and homely. The bed was the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
