We left booking our holiday to Newquay really late and did not think we would find anywhere to book, so we only really booked Trevena as there wasn't much left on the market...however, what a great little place to stay!
Situated at the top of the hill just off Mount Wyse we were literally five minutes walk to the centre of Newquay (even with a 9 and 11 year old who hate walking) but still tucked away enough to not be disturbed by any passing traffic/revellers. The benefit of being just at the top of the hill was the excellent views of the coast/sea/Newquay from the balcony. With great weather I found sitting with a pint of rattler in hand overlooking the coast was a great way to unwind.
The place is very well equipped. There was nothing they hadn't thought of from cutlery and crockery, washing powder to body boards and windbreak.
My wife had a slight issue with the kids twin room being downstairs next to the front door whereas we were in the double...
