Hendra Barn is a charming original barn of stone and slate which has been carefully converted into an inverted property. The original beams are exposed in the upper level of the property with the two bedrooms on the ground floor. Upstairs you have a well equipped kitchen with a electric cooker, electric hob, microwave and dishwasher. The fridge/freezer is in a small walk-in room next to the kitchen also provided is an iron and ironing board and hoover. <BR><BR>There is a toilet and basin also upstairs. The main bedroom has a double bed, oak wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is an en suite with bath/shower over, basin and toilet. Devon farm living at first hand. Seeing a real farm in action was fascinating. Did not meet host but husband Phil was helpful and accommodating. Adequate but not glamorous accommodation. Bedrooms below living area made sleeping impossible after first person woke. bathrooms tiny and little room for bags, clothes etc. Probably a better spot for summer beach goers.

Um, no we are not in Devon. I think you may have muddled your stay with somewhere else as our bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and storage space. En suites are opposite ends of property.

This is a lovely place from which to explore North Cornwall - cake, teabags and milk is always a welcome sight after a long journey and this comfortable accommodation made out late autumn getaway perfect

Booked for a week during half term for our family of 5. Everything about the Hendra Barn was perfect - we arrived late evening after having a lengthy journey down from Yorkshire and were greeted by a beautifully warm and welcoming cottage with a divine Victoria sponge cake and a birthday card for our little boy who was turning 5...
