Please note that this house is available for Friday arrivals for a minimum stay of 7 nights only.

From curling up with a mug of cocoa on the corner sofa to a romantic breakfast in bed, if you’re looking for a cosy Cornish nook to call your own, you’ll find it here.

A former fisherman’s net loft now converted into a two-bed cottage, Bark House is packed with charming features including slate floors and exposed beams. Originally used for drying fishing nets, this inviting bolthole nestles in a pretty side street at the heart of Port Isaac.

Step outside and in moments you’ll be on the quay. Listen to fisherman banter as they haul in their catch. Explore nearby opes and alleyways to find unique independent shops and studios. Tuck into fish fresh off the boats in the local restaurants (including Nathan Outlaw’s place) or buy some to take h...

Our week stay in this cottage was beyond expectations, we had everything there that we could possibly want to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we found everything very pleasant. The location was amazing and we did book into Fisherman's Kitchen and also had a lovely Sunday lunch at Port Gaverne Hotel all which...

Our holiday in Port Isaac surpassed all expectations, it is a magical place and the accommodation has been perfect. The house is cozy and quaint and only seconds away from the sea, the pub, lovely shops, breathtaking views and Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen! The accommodation is well equipped and clean with freshly laundered bedding and towels. It is a perfect...

Our 4th visit to a very special place for us. The cottage is lovely, a previous review mentioned a few little issues but we didn't see these. Water was fine, cottage was clean, there was a slight musty smell in the utility cupboard but as we didn't sleep in there we didn't care 🙂 felt very comfortable and cosy, just...

About the neighbourhood
You may recognise the narrow lanes and wave-beaten coastline of Port Isaac before you even set foot in it. The village plays host to the filming of some familiar BBC dramas, including the much-loved Doc Martin with Martin Clunes. It also now welcomes the cast and crew of the roaringly popular television adaptation of Winston Graham’s Poldark.

If you don’t manage to catch a glimpse of Aidan Turner (Ross), then you’ll be able to find something equally tasty in two Michelin star chef Nathan Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. This special find serves up fresh, sustainable seafood that pays respect to ‘every fish tail and scale’. Cheers to that.
