All four guest bedrooms are generously spread out across one single storey residence with the master ensuite bedroom featuring its own private sun balcony. There is a further double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a fourth bedroom with twin beds that can be configured as a kingsize bed. The main family bathroom has a separate bath, WC, hand basin and walk-in rainforest shower with dual attachment. The master ensuite again features a walk-in rainforest shower with dual attachment, WC and a hand basin. A separate third bathroom features a shower with WC and hand basin. There is ample parking for an assortment of oversized family cars at this property, a benefit of its detached and rural location. There are plenty of options to dine alfresco too with an abundance of terracing thoughtfully laid out around the perimeter of the property. Surrounded by the wonders of nature and West Penwith – guests are treated to a myriad of fascinating walks, hikes and treks right on your doorstep. This single storey property is conveniently accessed all on one level perfect for families with young children and for older guests wishing to avoid steep narrow steps. The kitchen features a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave oven and a central island/breakfast bar. The property also features a very generous utility room with enough space for muddy boots, jackets, surf boards and all manor of beach-related paraphernalia. A combi washing machine/tumble dryer completes the utility room essentials. Poacher's Rest is pet friendly. If you would like to bring your furry friend with you please let us know, all we ask is an additional £20.00 charge per dog per week. St Ives is a world-renowned holiday destination with numerous attractions that never fails to delight visitors. You can explore the small, cobbled streets enjoying the multitude of individual shops. The quaint Downalong area bordering the harbour and bedecked in flowers throughout the summer allows visitors to step back in time and reflect on St Ives’ fishing heritage. St Ives is ringed by magnificent award winning beaches offering visitors safe bathing and various activities including surfing, diving, boat trips and fishing. There are many superb restaurants specialising in fresh seafood. The town is famous as an art centre. Many artists have been drawn to the area and the town hosts the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum.
Getting around
There are many attractions in St Ives that can be reached on foot. These include: The Tate The Barbara Hepworth Museum The South West Coast Path. All the beaches are within easy reach. A car will allow you to explore West Cornwall and the following are all within a few miles: Land's End The Minnack Theatre The St Just Mining World Heritage Site St Michael's Mount There are numerous gardens in the locality including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. Local bus services can be used to visit many of the attractions.
