Fabulous Cottage
Just returned from spending New Year in St Ives staying at Seawater and what a way to start the year. The cottage is beautiful. Tastefully furnished & equipped with everything you could possibly need including a fabulous welcome gift and daily essentials, it was a real home from home. The cottage is in a perfect location for town & beaches. We are drawn back to St Ives year after year and am delighted to have now found the perfect place to stay, can not recommend Seawater highly enough & can’t wait to return.

What a brilliant place to stay
Seawater provided us with a perfect place to stay whilst attending a week's course at St Ives School of Painting. The attention to the minutest of details was so pleasing. We would recommend this place.

Perfectly Presented Cottage
This is a small cottage which has been very well renovated, lovely decor and every facility you could need. The stairs are probably a little awkward for older people who may be not so sure on their feet - but this is pretty standard with old cottages such as this one. Strongly recommend for a family or a quiet retreat for two such as our trip.

Thanks Graham for taking the time to write a review of your stay at Seawater, we're very pleased that you enjoyed it.
We are always very honest about the stairs being a little steep for the elderly, infirm or very young so I'm happy for this to be pointed out. The last thing we would want is for a guest to feel uncomfortable in the house.
Hopefully see you again one day.

An amazing house - we had a wonderful holiday at Seawater.
Seawater had everything one could possibly want for a holiday in St Ives. The hosts left a detailed manual providing all the information one needed in relation to the property. The location is perfect. The property is extremely well maintained and clean.

St. Ives' climate, unique geography and eclectic mix of museums, art galleries, shops and restaurants means there is something for everyone all year round. It has five beaches as well as a picturesque fishing harbour all within walking distance of the cottage. The beauty of St Ives is that everything is just a short stroll away - there is a great array of shops and restaurants in close proximity, yet it is still possible to lose yourself within the maze of narrow cobbled streets.
So many artists have worked here - there are many art galleries as well as the famous Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum.
The cottage is tucked away in a quiet street in the town centre and within a few minutes walk of all that St Ives has to offer.
Getting around
Walking distance to St Ives train and bus station. Spectacular train ride along the coastal branch line from St Erth links to the main London to Penzance line.

Car not needed
How to get there
From the A30 follow the signs for St. Ives.
Continue through Lelant and Carbis Bay until you reach the Harbour Hotel in St Ives. Turn right at the junction and follow the road down the hill with the sea on your right.
Once in the town centre continue down Tregenna Hill and onto Tregenna Place. At Barclays Bank the road forks to the right, but you should instead turn left up Bedford Road.
After approx 200 yds take the second left turning (ignore the first Wesley Place as the road loops back on itself). Seawater is on your left.
