The Cider Barn is peacefully situated on a family run organic dairy farm and has stunning views across the Culm Valley, the perfect place for a relaxing break. On the ground floor you will find an open-plan living/dining area and well equipped kitchen. As well as central heating there is a woodburner to keep you warm & cosy on those chilly winter evenings (logs supplied free of charge). There is a TV with DVD player & a selection of DVD's. Upstairs the mezzanine bedroom is tucked away under the eaves and has a comfortable double bed. Organic bedlinen, feather duvet and organic towels are supplied. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath and overbath power shower. At the rear is a secluded garden with table and chairs. Wi-Fi is supplied free of charge. Situated right in the heart of Devon there is plenty to see and do. There are some lovely walks around our farm. Killerton NT house and gardens is a 15 minute drive away. The stunning Jurassic Coastline and both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are less than an hours drive. The city of Exeter with its' excellent shopping, cathedral, museum, underground passages and quayside is 10 miles away. Exmouth, the nearest sandy beach is a 35 minute drive. More

Quiet rural location but close to Cullompton and its amenities. Good base for touring Devon (and beyond!) as only 5 minutes to the M5. Delightful accommodation with garden. Friendly greeting from Sandra (the owner) on arrival. Loved the fresh farm eggs for breakfast! Would definitely...More

About the neighbourhood
There are several local pubs and restaurants in the area, serving locally produced and home cooked food and locally brewed ales.. Killerton NT house and gardens is a ten minute drive away. Tiverton, a pleasant market town with twice weekly indoor markets on a Tues and Fri is 8 miles away. It is also famous for its' horsedrawn barge trips along the Tiverton Canal. Coldharbour Woolen Mill at Uffculme is also only a short journey away. The nearest town is Cullompton, one mile away, this has several small shops including a butchers selling locally produced meat and a supermarket.
How to get there
Directions to The Cider Barn: Exit M5 at junction 28. Follow signs for Cullompton town centre. You will go through two roundabouts and pass Tescos on the left hand side. Turn left at T junction towards Broadclyst on B3181. Go through town centre. At roundabout on edge of town, take 2nd exit signposted Bradninch. After one mile, take turning on left which is signposted Highdown Farm (turning is immediately after the 'SLOW' written on the left-hand side of the road). Go down lane for 1/4 of a mile, you will pass a stone cottage on the left and then you will see a red-brick farmhouse in front of you. Turn right in front of house and you will see a row of cream cottages. The Cider Barn is the first house with the low roof.
