Each of our twelve stone built bungalows are self-contained,warm and very quiet with breathtaking views of the Exmoor National Park. Dean Steep makes a superb base for a unique holiday experience. A photographer's paradise, near the sea and ideal for National Trust walks, riding, fishing etc.
Pets are welcome in some accommodation by prior arrangement.

Set in 12 peaceful acres of the North Devon countryside all our well equipped bungalows are double fronted and fully double glazed. All have an open plan lounge and kitchen and have been comfortably furnished. The kitchens have a full size cooker, microwave and fridge. The lounge is cosy and warm with flat-screen TV and DVD. nice quiet area, close to the road, you do near traffic noise but only when your sitting outside. hosts welcoming, small kitchen area, but adequate. beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, a plastic mattress protector made it very hot sleeping, 3 nights of hardly any...More

We arrived 4hrs early with a carsick 3yr old to be met, helped and welcomed. What perfect hosts we could not have asked for better.

About the neighbourhood
For the ramblers there is the South West Coastal Path, the Tarka Trail for the cyclists and Exmoor for riding and fishing. Lynton and Lynmouth are joined by the unique water powered cliff railway, with some of the best clifftop views in England. Both Lynton and Lynmouth have several pubs, cafes and restaurants. Lynmouth also has a harbour and pebble beach.

It is advisable to have a car but there are walks right from the door and a bus also passes the end of the driveway.

Railway: Barnstaple: 29.0 km
The bus from Lynton to Barnstaple passes the end of our drive so although we advise bringing your car it is possible to get the train to Barnstaple and then a bus.
