We do not have central heating but each room has a convector heater so you can decide how warm you want the room and a ceiling fan to cool you in the summer. A great place to stay in Torquay

One of the best & friendlist B&Bs we have ever stayed in, Gerry & Susan could not do enough for you.Food was very good & plentiful. If we ever stay in Torquay again that will be the place to go.

About the neighbourhood
The Haute Epine is situated only 7 minutes walk from the railway station, 12 mins walk to the main harbour, shops and night life and 9 minutes walk to the sandy beach and main theatre. There is also a good bus service to all areas just 2 minutes from our door. We are in an ideal situation for exploring south devon or walking part of the world famous South west Coast Path. The village of Cockington, famous for not changing in the last hundred years and full of old world charm and loads of tourist locations. Bowl greens are only a short walk away and is the fun and min-golf pitches. Parking is in the roads around us but it is free. Good base for walking the World Famous South West Coastal Path
Getting around
The train station is just down the road if you want to travel into Cornwall or Somerset for a day out or explore more of Devon. The bus service in Torbay is excellent and allows you to travel and explore for a very low cost. We are just around the corner from the bus stops and have full information available for guests to plan their outings. If you are into walking we are on the South West Coast Path, the longest footpath in England, and people come from all over the world to walk this. You do not have to be into walking as such as the parts nearest to us are suitable for a family walk.
