Totnes, Devon, England
Christina Park is just 7mins walk from Totnes main street giving easy access to all amenities, including the local Friday and Saturday market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The location is quiet and peaceful, with 2 sun decks above and beside a small stream shielded by mature trees for sunbathing and eating Al Fresco. It is close to the beautiful River Dart with it's walks and excursions.

Within 20mins drive is Dartmoor with it's Tors and wild ponies, and a variety of wonderful beaches for the family, and the dramatic cliff walks of the coastal path. Country pubs abound!

The interior is simple, modern, with plenty of daylight, and easy upkeep.

Great location for our visit to South Devon - Totnes is a lively town close to all the main touring routes, with good local facilities. Fortunately only one day of our fortnight break was wiped out by a (typically) Devonian all-day deluge, and the house was a cosy, relaxing place to shelter from the rain. We really enjoyed our stay - and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable home-away-from-home.

About the neighbourhood
Totnes is a very special and unique market town in the heart of beautiful South Devon. There are few English towns where the thousand year-old shape of the original borough can be seen so clearly, or where past and present are so closely interwoven. Follow the historic path of Totnes: www.totnesinformation.co.uk/totnes-history-and-heritage

In its recent past, Totnes became well known for its connection with therapists of all kinds and alternative lifestyles. Unique, quirky and photogenic, in a survey of travel writers it has been voted one of the ten funkiest towns in the world. Yet Totnes has a slow feel and safe ambience. Perhaps in part due to its close proximity to the Dartington Estate and Dartington College of Arts and its strong arts and crafts pedigree, many well known writers, mu...
