From October 2019 we are pleased to offer a 10% discount on bookings of 7 days or more * The 2nd floor apartment is new to the holiday rental market in 2019 and enjoys sunshine throughout the day and sits within a purpose built block on a quiet side road yet within the heart of Swanage just 50 yards from the sea front. The apartment has been tastefully decorated and carpeted throughout with contemporary furniture and high quality bedding and linen supplied. Bath and hand towels are also provided. There is also a hairdryer in the main bedroom. The flat has gas fired central heating and comprises a generous and social kitchen/diner/lounge which has a large corner sofa bed, dining table to seat up to six and TV unit. The kitchen area includes a washing machine, gas hob with electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans, utensils, glasses, mugs and crockery you would want and expect. A selection of tea, coffee (including decaf), sugar, condiments, herbs, spices and cooking oils are provided for your use. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside units and a full length mirror with hanging space behind. Bedroom 2 also has a double bed, a chest of drawers incorporating vanity unit and a bedside unit. The modern tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over. Pets are welcomed (we have dogs ourselves) and we would ask that you make use of the pet blankets that are provided to cover the sofa and/or beds. A maximum of two dogs are allowed. For those not planning to bring a pet, please be assured we do the housekeeping ourselves and take pride in ensuring all is spotless and specifically hairless for all of our guests. We live nearby and will meet and greet you on your arrival and will be happy to assist as required during your stay. We have a parking space for your use at a local hotel just 5 minutes walk from the apartment, however you are able to load/unload directly outside the apartment. We also own the apartment directly next to this apartment, which is almost identical. Larger groups may wish to consider booking both! We will meet guests on arrival to help unload and accompany to the secure parking at the nearby Purbeck House Hotel. We will also meet guests on departure to collect keys and parking permit. We live just five minutes from the apartment and are available and happy to assist throughout your stay.

About the neighbourhood
Those who have been to Swanage previously will know the town and the surrounding areas as a beautiful holiday destination for all ages, offering a multitude of events and interests, with something for everyone. For those visiting for the first time we believe it will not be your last! The apartment is just 50 metres from the seafront and beach. In the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, Swanage has a year long program of events, ranging from numerous music festivals, the fish festival, RNLI Lifeboat Week, Pirate Festival and of course the renowned Swanage Carnival Week!
Getting around
There are a number of alternative ways to get around during your stay in Swanage. For the active there are numerous footpaths, not least the spectacular south coastal path, although there are many gentler options around Studland and Poole harbour. There is of course the Swanage Steam Railway which runs from Swanage to Norden. There are frequent bus services to Wareham, Poole and Bournemouth.
