The perfect characterful retreat: Large spacious rooms, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room with open fire, dining area with large dining table and fully equipped country kitchen, with dining area and comfortable settle, as well as a beautiful cottage garden, with summer house and barbecue. Kersey is one of Suffolk's most photographed ancient villages starring in films, TV programmes and advertisements. Each one of the bedrooms is named after famous films etc which have been shot in and around Kersey - Lovejoy, Witchfinder General, Hallows (after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and Meerkat. Cressland is the perfect place to experience the peace and tranquility of the Suffolk countryside, a friendly welcome in the local pub, country walks straight from your door, great cycling (Kersey is on the South Suffolk Cycle Route) and the village is within easy reach of the Suffolk coast, Lavenham, Clare, Constable Country, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Cambridge is just 60 minutes away and London 90 minutes. There is so much to do and see in and around Kersey and the village is visited all year round by tourists, walkers, cyclists and of course painters. Luxury bed linen, towels, robes for use by guests during your stay are provided, together with a welcome basket of local produce, The White Company products and a basket of logs.More
