beautiful boutique style french beds super comfy and hotel style
fireplaces in every bedroom
the seating area in kitchen opens onto front garden so you can watch the world go by
there is a library in the toilet !
the front door is the your own personal access to apartment the bench to side is where we take break
the bicycles come with the flat
the kitchen is french style
all crockery and utensils provided
the front garden has a lawn for picnics or you have key to private huge garden
The master bedroom with enormous chateau style gold bed
bodiam castle is half an hour drive its a fairy tale castle
this is the famous cafe of the norman road in st leonards called the love cafe you cant miss it
we love soaking in the bateau bath by candlelight
georgian basins and the little seascape is of bexhill by my brother the artist of the house
restful environment the minute you enter you feel peaceful
stony dog guards the front door, the witching stones with holes on the door protect us
gorgeous george smith sofas to read our lovely art books on in the peaceful lounge
a beautiful desk to write your letter home ... except now you have wifi!

A major factor in deciding to share this apartment with friends was the description of '2 bathrooms of which 1 Family bathrooms and 1 Shower rooms', in fact there is just one bathroom containing both the bath and the shower. The price was also most attractive. It is difficult to see just what cleaning takes place for the £30 payment,...

We stayed at the appartement for one week in July. All four of us - including our teenage daughter and 12-year-old son - loved everything about the flat. Perfect size, the designs, the equipment,the energy, the neighbourhood... Getting the key was easy, contact with Andre aswell. Nice and safe area with easy walking to the beach and St. Leonards town....

It was a real pleasure, to spend a few days in this apartment, the sun even shined. It felt like a generous friend had loaned you their home. About the neighbourhood
St leonards is the georgian area close to Hastings, Its more genteel , the architect was A Bruton who designed the regency style Belsize park ,our house is build by Bruton himself and dates from 1840. The are hundreds of antique shops and funky cafes , We are a cycle ride from Hastings main town which hosts many festivals throughout the year of note in spring the Jack of the green and then in May the pirate festival and vintage bike and car festivals. In winter we have the famous hastings bonfire parades which are legendary.
In September the food and wine festivals and at christmas we have fairs.And of course the legendary Battle which is ten minutes drive where the battle of Hastings is reenacted in September.

Only 1 and 30 minutes by train from Charing cross or London bridge or Victoria . ( the Victoria link is the slower though at 1hr 50 mins.
The apartment is a seven minute pleasant uphill walk from the St Leonards station or take a cab for £3.50 from the station.
Driving is 2hrs from central London in traffic 1.5 hrs from south London.
There is ample parking either behind the house or in front of the house for 3-4 cars
Rye is twenty minutes away. Bexhill is 15 minutes and Camber sands 30 Minutes
there are trains that run from St Leonards to Battle , Bexhill and Camber
