The village of Kingham is well-serviced with an excellent local shop and post office,two gastro pubs and a hotel with a restaurant. Local buses run to the train station and to Chipping Norton via the village of Churchill,so if you don't want to take the car you don't have to,as public transport is easily accessed. The train station is just outside the village for the London/Paddington line,offering quick links back to the city if needed. In the heart of the Cotswolds,this is a lovely location for total relaxation or for visiting the many attractions close by. The dining table is large enough to seat four,whether you're enjoying a cooked breakfast together or an evening meal,all made in the well-equipped kitchen consisting of a gas oven and hob,microwave,fridge,small freezer and washing machine. There is also an iPod dock and CD player if you want to relax and listen to some music while you cook. The bathroom is located on the ground floor,with a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms,one with twin single beds,and the other master bedroom with a king-size bed and vaulted ceiling,offering a light and airy space for you to chill out in. There is a small seating area to the front of the cottage,with access to the 'secret garden' behind the log store and high walls. Although detached from the property,it is just a few steps from the front door,and is a quirky and charming addition to the home. More
