what can i say about this wonderful cottage in the heart of Stow on the wold. it is fantastically placed just a 2 min walk from the town square and all that has to offer. if you need a supermarket then tesco is only a 10 minute walk away. the cottage itself is great, lovely big kitchen, two nice sized...

simply delightful, beautifully done. I am a cook and the kitchen was well stocked with all necessary equipment. well equipped with a whole cupboard full of games, et cetera. gorgeous sun trap of a courtyard garden. stow itself is historic and picturesque with great places to eat - we were sorry to leave!

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests but is equally ideal for couples looking for a cosy retreat. It has a lovely romantic double bedroom and a pretty twin room with two single cast iron beds. It dates back to 1650 and still retains much original character which is complimented by traditional fabrics, antique pine furniture and crisp linens.

There is a welcoming sitting room with a lovely original Cotswold's flagstone floor, fantastic inglenook fireplace housing a log burner, comfortable seating and facilities such as a flat screen television (with freeview channels & built in DVD player) and hi-fi - the perfect place to relax and unwind after an exciting day exploring the Cotswold's.

Please note that the nightly rate quoted is based on 3 night min breaks which is our normal (2 night breaks may be considered at short notice - please enquire to see if a slight reduction in price is available for 2 nights). Prices include heating (exc logs if you want to use the log burner), linen, electricity and towels (one hand and one bath towel per person). Wi-fi internet access included within the price as are local rate telephone calls.

A good supply of cleaning products are supplied inc dishwasher tablets, fairy liquid and many other useful items such as hand soap and kitchen foil. We also provide a toilet roll and a kitchen roll to get you started.
